Making Solar Simple

Step 1: Virtual Assessment

Each of our installations begins with an introductory phone call. This is an opportunity for us to gather information about your project and future goals, in order to provide a realistic estimate of your annual electricity consumption. This is the best time to mention any additional electrical equipment (e.g. heat pump, electric vehicle), and to ask any questions about solar, batteries, net-metering, or tax incentives.

Once we have estimated your annual electricity consumption, we may request photos of your roof, generator, and/or electrical equipment to simplify the estimation process for both of us. Once we have gathered enough information, and your goals are clear, we will send you a preliminary proposal and schedule a free, onsite solar evaluation.

Step 2: Physical Assessment

After you have reviewed your preliminary proposal, we will conduct a free, onsite solar evaluation. This allows us to take measurements, inspect your roof, and inspect your electrical equipment in order to validate your preliminary proposal and form an installation plan. This is an excellent time for us to answer any additional questions that come to mind.

Step 3: Contract Signing

We may need to amend your preliminary proposal based on data that we gathered during your free, onsite solar evaluation in order to deliver you a final proposal. This final proposal outlines the specific solar panels and inverter(s) you will receive, the warranties of that equipment, and includes 30-year cost estimates comparing grid power to solar power.

If you are pleased with the final proposal, we will draft installation contract as required by the State of Maine, which can be signed electronically for your personal convenience. This contract outlines our fixed-price, anticipated installation date, project milestones, warranties, and specific scope of work.

Step 5: Installation

Quality begins with preparation. We manage all paperwork necessary for net-metering, permitting, and engineering. All you have to do is sign the occasional document for net-metering and/or permitting.

Once the paperwork is complete and technical screens have passed, we can install your solar panels! The statement, “Quality Matters.” is not just marketing, it is a belief held dearly by our team that is deeply woven into the fabric of our business.

We promise to deliver a high-quality, code-compliant solar array, safely.
