Solar for Business

Our crew can install a high-quality rooftop solar array on your business to achieve energy independence without the hassle of constant maintenance.

The Cost of Solar

On average, your solar array will take approximately 4-6 years to break-even. Your business is eligible for a 30% tax credit, and may be eligible for a tax credit up to 40% of the price of your array, however, please speak with a tax professional to determine your eligibility for the federal investment tax credit.

Additionally, since your business is in Maine, it is likely eligible for a USDA REAP grant that can cover up to 50% of the cost of your solar installation. We work with a REAP consultant that can guide you through the grant application process.

Our Services

In addition to installing your rooftop solar array, our fixed-price contract covers the cost of paperwork and communication with the power company and code enforcement to provide you with the best customer experience possible.

Warranties

Solar panels: 25-30 year warranty

Inverters: 10-25 year warranty

Installation: 5 year warranty

Paying for Your Installation

If you are paying for your installation in cash, we have a “pay-as-you-go” financial schedule outlined in our installation contract. This reduces risk for both of us without much in the way of compromise.

Most businesses already have a preferred lender, but we can pair you with one if necessary. If your business is eligible, and applies for a USDA REAP grant, you receive a loan-guarantee up to 75% of the value of your solar array. Financed arrays follow the same financial schedule as cash installations.

Operations & Maintenance

We spent months selected the most reliable equipment in the industry. Our equipment is incredibly robust and connected to the internet for monitoring. As a result, we don’t currently offer servicing agreements, because we have a “Do it right the first time!” mentality, so servicing agreements feel akin to selling snake-oil. Instead, we provide a 5 year installation warranty, and charge a fair servicing rate as-needed.
